Transport World

I have to admit, old cars and trucks, etc. do not spin my wheels. It could be something to do with a lack of testosterone . . . ? However, Bill Richardson's Transport World in Invercargill was an impressive display of transport through the years, lovingly restored, and interspersed with a number of other museum-worthy displays. Plenty for me to point my camera at.

I lost Dave (yes, it's a big place) and he saw things that I missed, so I've pinched a few of his photos to show you the old Citroens (in case that's your thing) and a large engine.

I did enjoy the Wearable Arts display up on one of the mezzanine floors. There are videos all over the museum and this one I watched right through.

You could spend hours in this place. Allow plenty of time, depending on your level of interest and how many videos you want to watch! The massive building is actually several huge "sheds" as well as mezzanine floors. Although I've posted a lot of photos here, there is so much more to seeit's truly an enormous display.

If you're not into old cars and trucks, maybe you'll enjoy the Wearable Arts picsthey're right at the end.

Thanks, Dave for the next two collages . . .

. . . and this one.
