Maude Winery
We had a lovely young lady, Bridget, explain the Maude wines to us. Their Riesling was lovely, with just the right amount of sweetness. Their Pinots were also excellent—I could drink any of them happily. But our favourite was Kids Block 2015—by a whisker!
They had a lovely view of Lake Wanaka.

More stunning views of Lake Wanaka. What an amazing place!
We enjoyed their Pinot as well—in particular the 2014 Mature Vine Pinot Noir.
Only two wineries this outing. One we turned up to was closed. Central Otago's reputation for producing excellent red wines is proving true.
